The method
The method behind KoraWise
Inspired by the Better parents, better kids approach developed through improving's work with families.
Where it comes from
Better parents, better kids is a psychopedagogical approach developed through improving's work with real families in Catalonia, refined over years of workshops with parents.
KoraWise takes that approach and turns it into a daily practice: small, possible actions that fit into real family life.
Core principles
Presence
Being genuinely there in everyday moments, even the messy ones.
Connection
Connection before correction: children cooperate more when they feel seen.
Emotional awareness
Noticing what you and your child are feeling before deciding what to do.
Boundaries
Clear, kind limits that give children safety and structure.
Repair
Hard moments happen. What matters is how we reconnect afterwards.
Daily practice
Small actions, repeated daily, matter more than perfect theories.
How it becomes daily practice
Inside KoraWise, the approach turns into simple tools you can actually use:
-
Conversations with Kora
Warm, practical guidance in the moments you need it.
-
Daily check-ins
A short pause to notice how the day went.
-
Daily challenges
One small, concrete action each day.
-
Family diary
A private space to reflect and see patterns.
-
Guided levels
A structured path that unfolds gradually.
Not just another pile of advice
KoraWise is not meant to be more parenting content to scroll through. It helps parents practice small, possible actions in real moments: one calmer response at a time.
“Children don't need perfect parents. They need parents who keep showing up: gently, daily, on purpose.”
What KoraWise does not promise
- It does not promise perfect parenting.
- It does not diagnose.
- It does not treat medical, psychological or behavioural conditions.
- It does not replace professionals.
- It is not an emergency service.
