01

What KoraWise is

KoraWise is a parenting app for parents of children aged 2 to 9. It combines a structured training programme, built from short lessons, with Kora: a conversational AI companion that helps you apply each lesson to your family's specific situation.

It is developed by professionals in educational psychology and child and adolescent psychology, and it is based on the "Better Parents, Better Kids" method created by Improving Psicopedagogia, a family training programme with more than twenty years of in-person workshops behind it.

KoraWise is a training programme, and the difference matters: it does not hand you a list of disconnected tricks for each problem, it gives you a path of lessons that build your own parenting judgement.

Kora does not replace the programme: she helps you translate it into your family reality. The goal is not for you to depend on the app, but for you to need it less over time.

For parents and carers of children aged 2 to 9 who want to parent with more calm, more consistency and less guilt.

It is especially useful if you recognise any of these: the same arguments over and over, difficulty setting limits without shouting, doubts about screens, tantrums, siblings fighting, independence, effort or handling big emotions.

No. KoraWise is an app for adults. Your child does not log in, does not talk to it and has no profile of their own.

Children appear only as context (age and, if you want to add it, a name) so that Kora can adapt her answers to their developmental stage.

KoraWise is available in Catalan, Spanish and English. All content — lessons, challenges, conversations with Kora and legal texts — is fully trilingual. You can switch language at any time from your profile.

02

Kora (the AI)

Kora is the conversational companion inside KoraWise: an artificial intelligence trained on the content and the method of "Better Parents, Better Kids".

She is designed to do one very specific thing: help you think through a real parenting situation, not hand you a ready-made answer. She asks, listens, brings in programme content when it fits, and closes with a challenge you can actually apply.

No, and it is important to say so plainly. Kora is not a psychology professional, she does not diagnose and she does not provide therapy. She is an educational and reflective tool built on a psycho-pedagogical method.

When a conversation moves into territory that calls for professional care (suspected disorder, violence, intense and sustained emotional distress), Kora recognises it and recommends seeking specialist help. She is explicitly programmed to do so.

Every conversation follows a pedagogical structure: it opens with an open question, listens and validates, brings in content from the method, asks more questions, summarises the key points and ends with a concrete challenge to practise during the week.

It is not an endless open chat: it is a session with a beginning and an end, like a tutorial.

Kora has access to the context you give her: your children's ages, the lesson you are working on and whatever you tell her during the conversation.

With that she adapts her language and her suggestions to the specific developmental stage (2-4, 5-6 and 7-9 years), because what works with a three-year-old does not work with an eight-year-old.

Not always. Kora is an artificial intelligence model and, like all of them, she can be wrong or produce inaccurate information.

That is why KoraWise anchors her to the content of the "Better Parents, Better Kids" method through a content retrieval system, and why Kora always invites you to weigh things up and use your own judgement. You are the one who knows your child; Kora is a tool, not an authority.

Right now Kora replies in text, and you can listen to both the lessons and her answers as audio. Voice conversation is planned for a later stage.

It depends on your plan. The number of conversations is limited according to the plan you have, because each conversation with Kora carries a real processing cost. You will find the details in the pricing section of the Terms and Conditions.

03

Scientific basis and method

KoraWise does not invent a framework of its own: it works from three recognised strands of psychology and pedagogy, brought together in the "Better Parents, Better Kids" method.

  • Family systems approach. A child's behaviour cannot be explained in isolation, only within the system of relationships they live in. When a child "misbehaves", the question is not only what is going on with them, but what is going on in the family system that sustains that behaviour. This is why KoraWise always works with the parents, not with the child.
  • Positive psychology. We focus on building strengths (self-esteem, effort, independence, resilience, social skills) rather than only correcting problems. Reinforcing the desired behaviour comes before punishing the unwanted one: praise instead of criticism, celebrating the process and not only the result.
  • Pedagogy of everyday life. This is the backbone of the method. Parenting does not happen in solemn conversations or extraordinary moments: it happens at dinner, at bedtime, in how chores are shared, in habits and routines. Everyday life carries enormous educational weight, and that is where KoraWise concentrates its practical challenges.

On that basis, the method organises the work of parents into three non-negotiable educational functions: the protective function (so the child feels safe), the affective function (so they develop self-esteem) and the socialising function (so they gain independence and critical thinking).

We want to be honest about that label, because it gets used very loosely.

KoraWise is grounded in recognised, validated theoretical frameworks (family systems, positive psychology, pedagogy of everyday life) and in a training programme applied for more than twenty years with real families in workshop format.

What we do not claim is that the app as a digital product has been through controlled clinical trials, or that it has demonstrated therapeutic efficacy. Those are different things and we will not blur them.

The content of KoraWise has been developed by the professionals at Improving Psicopedagogia SCP, drawing on their own material from the "Better Parents, Better Kids" programme.

Every lesson is written and reviewed by educational psychology professionals and includes references to recognised authors in the field of childhood and family life.

Kora does not freely generate content about parenting. Before answering, she retrieves the relevant passages from the corpus of the "Better Parents, Better Kids" method and builds her answer from there.

That means what Kora tells you comes from a specific body of content, reviewed by professionals, and not from open-ended generation based on the internet.

No. KoraWise is a training and educational support tool for families with ordinary dynamics. It is not a healthcare service, it does not diagnose and it does not treat disorders.

If you suspect your child may have a developmental, learning or behavioural disorder, or if you notice persistent emotional distress, you should consult a professional (paediatrician, child psychologist, school counselling team). Kora will recommend it if the conversation points that way.

In three specific ways:

  • It has a method. It is not a general-purpose AI answering parenting questions: it is a structured programme with a path, a set of pillars and a progression.
  • It is consistent. A general-purpose AI can tell you one thing on Monday and the opposite on Thursday, depending on how you ask. KoraWise always works from the same framework.
  • It makes you do the work. The goal is not to give you the answer, but for you to build your own judgement. Every lesson ends with a real challenge to apply at home.
04

The programme and its content

The programme is organised into thematic pillars, and each pillar contains a series of lessons. Lessons unlock progressively: it is designed as a path, not as a catalogue to dip into.

Among others: limits as a source of security, positive authority, handling conflict and tantrums, self-esteem and identity, independence and responsibility, habits and routines, effort and frustration tolerance, emotional intelligence, expressing sadness, childhood fears, jealousy, sibling relationships, peer relationships and social skills, assertiveness, screens and technology, play and boredom, after-school activities, supporting schoolwork and family-school communication.

Little, and that is the point. Each lesson takes a few minutes to read (or listen to), comes with a practice, and proposes a weekly challenge designed to fit into what you already do: between 5 and 15 minutes a day inside your normal home routine.

KoraWise does not ask for extra time you do not have; it asks you to spend the time you already spend with your children differently.

Every lesson ends with a concrete, practical challenge to apply at home over the following days: holding a limit without giving in, replacing a criticism with specific praise, creating a daily moment of real listening.

It is where the method moves from theory into everyday life.

Yes. Lessons come with audio, and you can also listen to Kora's answers. Made for commutes, for while you cook, or for when your eyes have had enough.

KoraWise lets you register all your children, and the content adapts to the age ranges you have at home.

If you have a three-year-old and an eight-year-old, you will see the lessons relevant to both stages, and Kora will adapt her answers depending on which child you are talking about.

The journal lets you record how the challenges went and how you feel as a parent. It is not a control mechanism or an assessment: it is a tool for awareness.

Over time you can see your own path, which is exactly what tends to go unnoticed day to day.

05

Pricing and subscription

Right now KoraWise offers only a free trial plan, with access to a limited number of lessons and conversations with Kora. A weekly subscription plan with full access to the programme and a monthly number of conversations is planned for the future.

On both the free and the paid plans, conversations have a limited number of interactions. The reason is that each conversation with Kora has a real cost: behind it there is an AI model processing context, retrieving content and generating an answer.

We would rather be transparent about the limit than offer "unlimited" and quietly degrade the quality.

The subscription is handled through the App Store and Google Play, and you can cancel it whenever you want from your account settings, with no minimum term.

KoraWise is currently a mobile app; there is no web version.

06

Privacy, data and security

The data controller is Improving Psicopedagogia SCP (VAT no. J66829102). You will find full contact details and complete information in the KoraWise Privacy Policy.

Conversations with Kora are stored in your account so that you can look back at your history and so that Kora can give continuity to your process.

They are not sold to third parties, not used for advertising and not published. They are processed with AI providers under data processing agreements; the details are in the Privacy Policy.

No. Your conversations with Kora are not used to train artificial intelligence models.

KoraWise runs on language models from professional providers through their paid enterprise environments, not the consumer versions open to the public. The distinction matters: in those contracted environments, the data processed is not added to the models' training sets and is covered by processing agreements that govern its use and retention.

In practical terms: what you tell Kora is used for one thing only — giving you an answer and keeping your history inside your account. It does not feed any model, it is not sold to third parties and it is not used for advertising.

KoraWise collects the bare minimum: age, in order to adapt the content, and optionally a name or alias. We do not ask for or store photographs of children.

The principle is minimisation: only what the method needs in order to work.

Yes. From the "My data" section you can export all your data into a file and delete your account permanently. Deletion is final and removes your conversations, your journal and your progress.

Yes. KoraWise is developed in the European Union by a Spanish entity and is designed in line with the General Data Protection Regulation: explicit and recorded consent, rights of access, portability and erasure, data minimisation and clear information about processing.

07

Account, support and issues

Download the app and follow the instructions: it guides you through the whole sign-up process. It is very straightforward.

From the profile section you can send us a report: you pick the type of problem, describe it and can attach screenshots. It reaches us directly and we confirm receipt.

If you cannot find the reporting section, write to info@korawise.app and we will take care of it.

Yes. You can keep the same session open on more than one device and work on the same account.

Yes, the same account can be open on more than one device at once. Bear in mind, though, that the activity will be recorded as if you were both the same user.

08

About AI and KoraWise

No, and it would be a bad idea. KoraWise does not talk to your children and does not raise them: it trains the adults.

The educational relationship with your child is yours and cannot be delegated; what KoraWise does is give you tools and judgement so you can hold it better.

It is a fair tension and we will not hide from it. Our position is this: the time you spend with KoraWise is training time, not parenting time. Just like reading a book about parenting or going to a talk at school.

If the app takes time away from your children instead of improving it, you are using it wrongly, and Kora will tell you so.

Then you are probably right. Kora does not know your child; you do.

The "Better Parents, Better Kids" method starts from an explicit premise: in parenting there are no universal recipes, there are tools and practices you can apply. Kora suggests; you decide.

This is the red line in how the product is designed. KoraWise does not compare children, does not rank anyone, does not tell you what you are missing out on and does not score your parenting. The tone of the method is an invitation, not an obligation.

If at any point the app makes you feel guilty, tell us where, because that is our mistake.
